This switch are perfect for you next project if you have two bulbs. Turn either one on independently or have both on at the same time.

The switch works like this: OFF, L1, L2, L1 & L2 , (In the first position, all loads are off. In 2nd Position, only Load 1 is on. In the 3rd Position, only Load 2 is on. In the 4th Position, Load 1 and Load 2 are both on)
