The Hand-Formed Hexagon Shade - 10-1/2" Diameter - Antique Nickel Finish

Beautiful handmade shade. Not spun. Not made on a machine. Hand-formed. These are nice. 

Our new Hand-formed shades are first pre-cut of steel into eight separate pieces. Then they are meticulously hammered, bent, and formed into the desired shape. A series of spot welds are then made to assemble everything together and then finished in either Antique Nickel or Antique Copper to create a cool piece that can't be found anywhere else. 

Please keep in mind that these shades are made from unfinished steel and in some areas have begun to slightly rust (mainly in some of the seams). But this part of what makes this shade so special. It is not actual nickel or copper, but appear to be. They look as though they've been hanging in a warehouse for many years and now have a cool patina. Get yours today before we run out of them!

Dents, smudges, scratches. flaws, embellishments, etc., are all part of the character of these shades. We love this type of product. And if for some reason you don't, then just like we recommend to many of our "finicky" customers, ...... please go to Walmart and buy your perfect (and cheap) shades that were made on an assembly line and are just like everyone else's. Not being mean, just being real. You'll love these.

This listing is for the shade only. It does not include wire, strain relief, bulb, or a socket. A few of the photos may show it assembled with those items and the pictures are to give you and idea of what it might look like. You don't receive all that other stuff. In order to make it into a light, you will a socket, strain relief, bulb, wire, and a plug.
